Shards

Out of nowhere

It hurts

Everything aches

Weight on your shoulders

It's heavier to breathe

Clenched jaw

Headaches

Loss of appetite

Sleeping disorder

...& the list goes on and on.

You grow up, realize what's best for you,

get rid of everything toxic, find your flaws, work on them.

Yet, they're still there.

What's still there?

The shards.

What shards?

From your broken glass.

What glass?

The empty cup, the white paper, the hard disk with clear storage.

Parents, teachers, mentors... They fill it up... with everything good... supposedly.

...

You get it?

...

Before you even start, it's already smashed.

You just locked them down, deep down in your basement.

One day

you ran into them

Suddenly, every step you took forward...

vanished

Pain and sadness hit

harder and harder.

That's the package.

A package hard to get rid of. Unless somebody forces you, or you go to therapy...

Even sometimes effort won't be able to save you from this moving sand.

Deeply implanted

Try to fight it

It will squeeze even more

Suffocating you.

Some people or parents don't realize how difficult it is to raise a child.

So fragile, so sensitive.

It's always a bad idea to leave behind a broken piece in someone else's heart.

Understand the importance of your actions and words.

People notice more than you think they do.

They know to whom belongs every broken piece stabbed in their hearts.

SO

Let's raise children who won't have to recover from their childhoods.

Pam Leo

It's easier to build strong children than to repair broken men.

Frederick Douglass

It's not our job to toughen our children to face a cruel and heartless world. It's our job to raise children who will make the world a little less cruel and heartless

LR Knot

LAST BUT NOT LEAST;

The basic unit of any society is the home. When the home begins to break, the society is on the way to disintegration.

Billy Graham

But who cares? right?

Peace out.
